Uniform

Our Uniform

After consultation between Governors and parents, the school adopted a mode of dress, which it is expected that children will wear:

  • Royal blue sweatshirt, cardigan or pullover
  • Royal blue or white shirts, blouses, t-shirts, or polo shirts
  • Grey, black or navy skirts or trousers
  • Sensible shoes or trainers (preferably black)
  • Grey, white or black socks or tights

During the summer pupils may wear grey, black or blue tailored shorts. Girls may wear dresses in the school colours, i.e. blue and white checked or striped. We ask particularly that t-shirts are
plain with no logos or writing on them. All items of clothing should be clearly marked.

Our uniform gives pupils a degree of choice in what they wear. However, we do expect all trousers/skirts/cardigans/jumpers and sweatshirts to be plain and of an appropriate style to look smart and to allow them to take full part in all activities.

To avoid confusion it is advisable to put names on all uniform. School uniform can be purchased through school, School Trends or Tesco.com.  Order forms and information are available from the office.

Children will be encouraged to maintain standards of tidiness, neatness and cleanliness of dress at all times. An item of clothing will be discouraged if it is offensive to others (e.g. obscene or unacceptable logos or slogans).
