Monday 23rd March - Home Schooling Activities
Here are some activities for today. You can do them in any order you choose. Have a go and do the best you can. If you are stuck, you can contact us on Dojo.
However, you also need to remember to build time in your day to relax, chill out, have fun, move around and be creative! Please feel free to share anything great you do with us on Dojo!
2 x 15 minutes
Read anything you want – a book, a comic, a magazine, a blog, a web page, anything!
Sketch, draw or paint a picture setting of a scene of your choice. For example, you could draw a country cottage, a snowy village, a deserted school.
Spend some time thinking about the atmosphere that you want to create. For example, it could be spooky, lonely, and lively. It does not matter if you feel you cannot draw great pictures. As long as you have a great picture in your mind.
Make sure you include the following in your picture:
-something to hear
- something detailed to see
- something to smell / taste
-something to touch
We'll be using your creation later in the week so keep it somewhere safe!!!
Maths – from your pack: The Mystery of the Missing Knight from your pack.
Reflex - Practice your skills on Reflex
RWI. Spelling zone. Work through one section each week.
Creative - Draw or paint a picture or make a model (you could do it in Lego if you have some) inspired by our WW2 topic. Or use technology if you are able to (one of our children created a stop animation video the other day in class!). Have fun with it!
Physical health. - Try and be active for an hour a day: walk up and down the stairs, dance to your favourite song, run in the garden.
Mental health - Be kind to your family! Ask your parents or siblings if you can make them a drink! If someone in your family is down, talk to them. If you're feeling down, talk to someone. Ask your parents if you can message your friends to see if they are all ok. Look after each other!
Don't forget to message us on Class Dojo if you need anything.
Bye for now!
