Good morning everyone :-)
I have started putting times next to the lessons – these are by no means set in concrete but some children have asked for them to be used as a guide.
Please visit the Emmanuel website for any worksheets, word banks, extra resources and extra challenges.

Decimals and measures: Solving problems with length
In today’s lesson, we will solve problems involving calculating the area and perimeter of rectilinear shapes, including compound rectilinear shapes, where the conversion of measure is needed.
If you have been doing the area and perimeter of 2D shapes, here's your lesson for today:

REFLEX (1:00 – 1:15)
Try and complete 15 minutes of reflex.

HISTORY (1:30 - 2:30)
In what ways was Edward I a 'great and terrible king'?
In this lesson, we are going to be learning about Edward I. We will learn about his marriage to Eleanor of Castile. We will then go on to learn about how Edward conquered both Wales and Scotland and the legacies he left that are still in place today. This lesson covers torture and execution. If this is a sensitive topic for your child, then please make sure they are adequately supervised.
