NOTE: Don't forget to try and upload all of your work throughout the day and respond to your comments. Think of it like handing in your book and responding to the marking in your book :-)

Long division - Solve problems involving division with remainders (Part 2)

In this lesson, you will learn to represent remainders in different ways.

Alternatively, give this lesson a go:

Short division

Today we will solve division problems using short division and place value counters. We will start by exploring division by sharing and then division by grouping, showing how to record the formal method of short division whilst demonstrating each stage of the process using pictorial and concrete representations.

To plan a diary

In this lesson, the children will practise writing fronted adverbials, will review the features of a diary and will then begin to plan a diary entry in the first person as Lyra, the main character in the story.

Read in an extreme place! We have had some fantastic photos of people reading in weird and wonderful places. Make sure you read for a minimum of 15 minutes and record it in your reading diary.

If you do not have a reading book at home, or prefer to read an eBook, please log in to Your teacher will let you know your login details.

Alternatively, check out the books, magazines, comics and audiobooks on Sheffield library (you will need to set up your own account with your parents email and your library card number)

Try and complete 15 minutes of reflex.

Have a go at the games on Active Learn.

PSHE- Personal, self and health education (PSHE)

Time to get active! Super important (especially at the moment!!!)

In this lesson, we are going to be learning about the importance of exercise through the help of a very special guest! The lesson will involve getting up on our feet and measuring our heart rate before and after exercising. Our guest will then tell us how much exercise we should do everyday - you might be in for a shock! To finish the lesson, we will be creating our own exercise timetable which we can use at home and in school to help us stick to exercising regularly!
