Read anything you want – a book, a comic, a magazine, a blog, a web page, anything! 

GUIDED READING 

60 Second reads.  Read ‘Frederick Catherwood’ and answer the questions attached to it

Day 2 –Read an advert and information for a child president scheme.  

Revise the subjunctive and highlight examples.  

Write about being president, using the subjunctive.

Log into My Maths for today’s lesson and activities

SCIENCE – CLSSIFYING LIVING THINGS 

Task 1: Grouping Living Things 

Look at the cards of different living things and think about how you could group them easily and more complex ways.  Make sure you record it on the complex vs simple resource.  You could use the PPT to help you sort them. 

Read the poster about Carl Linnaeus.    

Finally annotate the resource ‘Branching’ using writing and drawings to provide examples of living things for each classification.
