Music

Vision

Making music at Emmanuel is an important part of our aim to develop the whole child. It builds confidence, develops listening skills and encourages children to work as a team to creat and perform together. It is well documented that regular music education has a positive impact on a child's overall cognitive development, improving outcomes across the curriculum as well as improving emotional well-being. Above all music is fun! In addition to developing their knowledge and skills, our music curriculum is designed to give each child a deeper enjoyment and appreciation of a wide variety of musical genres and inspire them to continue to make music in the future.

''I would teach children music, physics and philosophy; but most importantly music, for the patterns in music and all the arts are the keys to learning.''
